The indomitable Sandra Shamas is back with a big stage presentation of her new show that previewed during the PANAMANIA Festival last summer, where it played to sold out houses of deliriously happy audiences.
The Big ‘What Now?’ continues Sandra’s journey of discovery. She now looks at life on the other side of 50 with her brilliant wit and candid insights. After completing life’s compulsory rites of passage, just what exactly is next?

Sandra has produced, written, directed and starred in six shows! Her comedic talents have taken her across Canada, the U.S. and has performed at the famed Old Vic Theatre in London, England. Her first show, My Boyfriend’s Back and There’s Gonna Be Laundry, was performed by Sandra at the Edmonton Fringe Festival in 1987 to rave reviews.
Two shows followed: My Boyfriend’s Back and There’s Gonna Be Laundry II; The Cycle Continues and Wedding Bell Hell. All shows sold out multiple weeks at the historic Winter Garden Theatre in downtown Toronto.
After a sabbatical, Shamas returned to the stage with the first show of her second trilogy entitled Wit’s End in the winter of 1999.
Two more shows followed, Love Life and Heart’s Desire to critical review.
This January (2017) marking her 30th year of being a writer/performer, Shamas takes to the stage for her latest show entitled, The Big ‘What Now?’
